User Privacy Choices

Last updated: 5 July 2026

In short

Runnr does not use advertising tracking, does not sell personal data and does not require a user account. Your main privacy choices are controlled locally on your device.

Location access

Runnr needs location access to create routes from your position and to show where you are while running. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Runnr.

Notifications

If you enable reminders or route-related notifications, you can change or disable them in the Runnr app or in iOS Settings → Notifications → Runnr.

Health access

If you use Apple Watch or choose to save workouts to Apple Health, you can manage permissions in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Runnr.

Route history and local data

Saved routes are stored locally on your device. You can delete individual routes in the app or delete all route data under Settings → Delete all routes and data. Deleting the app also removes locally stored Runnr data from the device.

Subscriptions

Runnr Premium subscriptions are managed by Apple. You can view, cancel or change subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.

Data requests

Because Runnr does not operate user accounts or a server-side profile for your routes, there is normally no Runnr account data to export or delete from our systems. If you have a privacy question, contact us at support@runnr.dk.
